8. • Mechanical Engineer Degree or equivalent;
9. • Experience in suspension system development with strong product development focus;
10. • Broad experience as a product development engineer in the automotive industry;
11. • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (stamping, casting, forging…) and material properties;
12. • Application of quality tools (Risk Analysis, DFMEA, Root Cause Analysis, etc.);
13. • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in cooperation with others;
14. • Flexibility to perform a wide range of tasks and accept new challenges, responsibilities and assignments;
15. • Fluent in English (written and verbal);
16. • International and multi-cultural experience within a global and cross-functional organization.
17. Activities:
18. • Be responsible for the development and implementation of heavy-duty vehicle suspension systems and components;
19. • Contribute to suspension development with awareness of interfaces to steering, brakes and axle systems;
20. • Provide technical solutions and design work that fulfill business targets and functional requirements;
21. • Develop and share technical competence with other development sites;
22. • Control product cost and support budget estimation;
23. • Develop validation plans and project time plans;
24. • Support Design Reviews, participate in risk analysis, root cause investigations and DFMEA;
25. • Play a key role in a cross-functional network;
26. • Secure continuous optimization of product quality and cost;
27. • Release documentation (3D models, drawings, technical regulations, technical descriptions, product structure);
28. • Make use of and apply Agile methodology.
